Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club in Northeast Florida is seeking friendly servers with 1–2 years' full-service restaurant or private club experience to join our dining team.

You will greet members, assist servers and bartenders, prep and reset tables, participate in pre-shift briefings, and help with daily cleaning and setup for events while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of full-service restaurant, private club server, or banquet server experience.
• Must know basic service steps and have a good understanding of beverages (alcoholic and nonalcoholic).

Responsibilities

• Be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time, consistently.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain professional and welcoming appearance and demeanor.
• Ensure clothing is clean and in good repair and wear name tag.
• Proficiently operate all appropriate equipment and safety features.
• Set up and clear tables, assist servers and bartenders during shift.
• Greet members with a smile and provide water service.
• Assist in daily and weekly cleaning duties and prep for functions.
• Check out with Dining Room Captain and Dining Room Manager before leaving.

Training and Experience: Must have 1-2 years of full service restaurant, private club server, or banquet server experience.

Job Knowledge: Must know basic service steps (how to wait a table) and have a good understanding of beverages - alcoholic and nonalcoholic.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time, consistently.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays.
• Clothing must be in proper taste, crisp, clean, and in good repair, upon entering the property, including wearing name tag.Demeanor must be professional and welcoming.
• Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; Management has final approval.
• Become proficient on all appropriate equipment and safety features.
• Make sure all side work is complete, before opening.
• Perform all kitchen prep and set-up as outlined on side work sheets
• Assist servers in the set up of tables
• Attend pre-shift meeting to learn daily specials, and miscellaneous information
• Monitor kitchen during shift for bread levels in warmers and ice tea and coffee stations
• Assist servers and bartender during shift.
• Greet members with a SMILE and give all initial water service.
• Remove trays with dirty dishes from dining room.
• Reset tables during service.
• Communicate with Dining Room Captain and Dining Room Manager.
• Perform any daily and weekly cleaning duties as assigned.
• Set up for next function, to include moving furniture.
• Check out with Dining Room Captain and Dining Room Manager before leaving.
• Perform other jobs that will assist in quality member service as assigned by the Dining Room Captain and Dining Room Manager.
