Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club is seeking a diligent Server to ensure members and guests enjoy a premier dining experience. You will serve dishes and beverages, maintain a clean and proper table setup, and assist guests with menu items throughout the meal.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, guiding them through the dining process, handling checks, and coordinating with the Dining Room Captain to ensure timely service.

• Keep hair clean and styled appropriately.
• Ensure side work is completed before opening.
• Set up tables with clean glassware and tableware; tidy stations and flowers.
• Attend pre-shift meetings to learn specials and updates.
• Greet members and guests immediately with a smile.
• Guide guests through the dining experience and communicate with the team.
• Process and close member checks accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate with Dining Room Captain or Manager on closing times.
• Close and tidy station and complete side work as required.
• Contribute to quality member service as assigned.

Job Summary

To ensure members have completely enjoyed their visit to the club by ensuring a wonderful dining experience. The Mansion - Server position is responsible for serving dishes and beverages to guests and members, ensuring a clean and proper table setup for each guest throughout the shift, answering questions regarding items on the menu, and presenting checks to guests at the conclusion of the meal.

Job Duties and Functions

1. 1. Be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time, consistently.
2. 2. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays.
3. 3. Clothing must be in proper taste, crisp, clean, and in good repair, upon entering the property, including wearing name tag. Demeanor must be professional and welcoming.
4. 4. Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; Management has final approval.
5. 5. Make sure all side work is complete before opening.
6. 6. Set up tables: glasses and silver are clean and lined up properly; salt and pepper shakers clean and filled; sugar holders are full and clean; chairs, including legs and table bases, are clean; flowers look good; table cloth is crisp and hanging properly.
7. 7. Attend pre-shift meeting to learn daily specials and miscellaneous information.
8. 8. Greet members and their guests IMMEDIATELY and with a SMILE.
9. 9. Guide members and their guests through the course of their dining experience, communicating frequently with them.
10. 10. Ring member checks accurately and on a timely manner.
11. 11. Communicate with the Dining Room Captain or the Dining Room Manager as to when to close.
12. 12. Clean station and side work as required.
13. 13. Close and check all member checks at the end of the shift.
14. 14. Turn in check-out to the Dining Room Captain or the Dining Room Manager.
15. 15. Perform other jobs that will assist in quality member service as assigned by the Dining Room Captain or the Dining Room Manager.
