Candidates should have 1-2 years of full-service restaurant or club server experience and a solid understanding of beverage service. Schedule is varied and full-time, with weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Must have a solid understanding of beverage service (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) and basic service steps.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual and arrive on time for every shift.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Dress in proper, clean uniform with name tag; maintain a professional, welcoming demeanor.
• Hair must be clean and neatly styled; management has final approval.
• Become proficient on all equipment and safety features.
• Complete daily side work before opening and assist with kitchen prep.
• Set up tables and assist servers and bartender during shift.
• Greet members with a smile and provide water service.

Training and Experience: Must have 1-2 years of full service restaurant, private club server, or banquet server experience.

Job Knowledge: Must know basic service steps (how to wait a table) and have a good understanding of beverages - alcoholic and nonalcoholic.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• 1. Be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time, consistently.
• 2. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays.
• 3. Clothing must be in proper taste, crisp, clean, and in good repair, upon entering the property, including wearing name tag.Demeanor must be professional and welcoming.
• 4. Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; Management has final approval.
• 5. Become proficient on all appropriate equipment and safety features.
• 6. Make sure all side work is complete, before opening.
• 7. Perform all kitchen prep and set-up as outlined on side work sheets
• 8. Assist servers in the set up of tables
• 9. Attend pre-shift meeting to learn daily specials, and miscellaneous information
• 10. Monitor kitchen during shift for bread levels in warmers and ice tea and coffee stations
• 11. Assist servers and bartender during shift.12. Greet members with a SMILE and give all initial water service.
• 13. Remove trays with dirty dishes from dining room.
• 14. Reset tables during service.
• 15. Communicate with Dining Room Captain and Dining Room Manager.
• 16. Perform any daily and weekly cleaning duties as assigned.
• 17. Set up for next function, to include moving furniture.
• 18. Check out with Dining Room Captain and Dining Room Manager before leaving.
• 19. Perform other jobs that will assist in quality member service as assigned by the Dining Room Captain and Dining Room Manager.
