Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of mentoring, advocacy, and/or social work with African American male teens or related field work.
• Valid California Teaching Credential or willingness to work toward a credential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the Manhood Development coursework and support program goals.
• Create an educational atmosphere that promotes academic, emotional, and social growth.
• Implement the District’s voluntary resolution plan to eliminate inequities.
• Maintain records and communicate with students, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with peers and adhere to annual evaluation cycles.
