Job summary

Bond Health in Manhattan seeks a full-time School Psychologist to provide evaluation, diagnosis and therapeutic intervention aligned with program policies and regulatory standards. You will conduct annual psychological assessments, develop treatment plans, deliver services, and collaborate with families and staff to support student progress.

Requirements include a Master's in Psychology, NYSED School Psychologist Certification, and at least one year of experience with developmentally disabled

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.

• Knowledge of psychometric instruments (Wechsler, Stanford-Binet).

Responsibilities

• Provides psychological assessment annually in intelligence and adaptive behavior.
• Develops treatment plans and goals based on assessments.
• Provides services per treatment plan (behavior management, counseling, crisis intervention).
• Conducts parent training and counseling.
• Outreach to families in need.
• Play therapy with children as needed.
• Complete FBA and BIP writings as needed.
• Integrates interventions with programs/home through consultation and team meetings.
• Records progress and monitors therapy status; makes recommendations as needed.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and annual reviews.
• Participates in pre-admission evaluations.
• Assists with duties such as arrival/dismissal, feeding, bathrooming, and classroom management.
• Maintains equipment and orders supplies with supervisor approval.
• Administers, scores, analyzes, and interprets cognitive/emotional tests.
• Trains staff on goals, behavior management, and test interpretation.
• Keeps abreast of changes in the field.
• Performs other related duties.
