Job summary

UA Brands is seeking a hands-on Manhattan SCALE 2016 Developer to support, maintain, and enhance our warehouse management system for the Atlanta-area distribution center. The role requires strong SQL Server development skills and practical understanding of DC workflows, RF devices, and interfaces with warehouse equipment.

You will independently develop, troubleshoot, and implement solutions within a Manhattan SCALE 2016 environment, collaborating with IT and DC leadership to improve efficiency

Qualifications

• Hands-on professional experience developing, customizing, maintaining, or supporting Manhattan SCALE 2016 WMS (mandatory).
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL development experience, including complex queries and performance troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated software development experience including writing, modifying, debugging, and maintaining application code.
• Experience developing or supporting integrations between WMS and other applications or warehouse technologies.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution center business processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment, RF devices, and the relationship between physical operations and WMS functionality.
• Ability to independently investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and distribution center operations personnel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance applications within Manhattan SCALE 2016.
• Write, modify, test, and deploy code to support warehouse operations and business requirements.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable technical solutions.
• Support existing customizations, system interfaces, and enhancements within the WMS environment.
• Collaborate with IT and DC leadership to identify system improvement opportunities.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects.
• Troubleshoot SQL Server performance issues and application-related database problems.
• Develop and maintain application logic and interfaces for the WMS environment.
• Analyze issues to improve system performance, reliability, and data integrity.
• Create technical documentation for enhancements, integrations, and system changes.
• Understand end-to-end DC workflows and support WMS integrations with equipment and technology.
• Translate operational challenges into effective technical solutions.
• Develop, maintain, troubleshoot integrations between Manhattan SCALE and other enterprise applications.
• Participate in system enhancements, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
• Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and automate processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
