Job summary

Managed Services and VoIP Provider in Manhattan seeks a Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to own AD, cloud, and network environments. This role leads projects from planning through execution and requires strong documentation and client-facing communication.

The position is full-time, in-office five days a week with occasional after-hours incident responses. Compensation ranges with salary band and benefits listed in the posting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or senior technician roles.
• Experience administering Active Directory, cloud environments, and networks.
• Not an entry-level or Level 1 support role; capable of leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and administer AD, Group Policy, and identity infrastructure across client environments.
• Administer cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) including provisioning, cost optimization, and monitoring.
• Own network administration: DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routers, switches, and monitoring.
• Administer Windows/Linux servers; manage patching and update strategy.
• Lead infrastructure and cloud migration projects from planning through execution.
• Design, implement, and test backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Own security posture; monitor alerts, patch, and remediation.
• Escalate complex issues from Level 1/2 staff; document SOPs and runbooks.
• Develop scripts and automation for provisioning and routine tasks.
• Standardize server and network builds for onboarding new clients.
• Administer M365 environments/infrastructure; communicate status to clients.
• Provide rare emergency/incident responses outside business hours.
