Job Title: Manhattan Active WMS Support Consultant
Location: Chicago, IL Onsite

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manhattan Active Warehouse Management System (MAWM/WMS) Support Consultant to provide technical and functional support for warehouse management applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Manhattan WMS/MAWM, warehouse operations, WMS implementations, configuration, workflows, rules, integrations, and production support.

This is an onsite position in Chicago, IL, with up to 20% international travel to Mexico and Canada. The candidate must also be flexible to provide weekend or holiday support when live warehouse sites are operating on rotational shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced L2/L3 technical and functional support for Manhattan Active WMS.


• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and resolve application defects and incidents.


• Perform MAWM configuration for bug fixes, enhancements, performance tuning, and business requirements.


• Support application updates, patches, upgrades, and related system management activities.


• Analyze and optimize warehouse processes including receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory, and order fulfillment.


• Develop and implement automated solutions to improve warehouse workflows and operational efficiency.


• Design, develop, and maintain complex WMS rules and workflows.


• Work closely with warehouse operations, IT, infrastructure, ERP/SAP, and other cross‑functional teams.


• Understand and support WMS and legacy system integrations.


• Collaborate with the Manhattan Associates CSO organization for issue resolution, platform capabilities, and product enhancements.


• Participate in application enhancements, technical assignments, and continuous process improvement initiatives.


• Follow established IT Change Management, Governance, and support processes.


• Provide production support during weekends or other non‑business hours based on warehouse operating schedules.


• Travel internationally to Mexico and Canada, up to 20%, as required.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working with best‑of‑breed WMS solutions.


• Strong hands‑on experience with Manhattan WMS / Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM).


• Manhattan WMS and Labor Management (LM) experience is mandatory.


• Multiple full‑lifecycle Manhattan Active WMS implementation experience.


• Strong experience working in a WMS Support team.


• Solid understanding of warehouse operations and end‑to‑end WMS processes.


• Experience with WMS Cloud implementations.


• Strong knowledge of WMS configuration and complex WMS rules.


• Experience designing and developing WMS workflows.


• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.


• Experience with WMS/legacy system integrations and ERP integrations such as SAP.


• Ability to independently handle technical assignments and production issues.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Willingness and ability to travel internationally to Mexico and Canada up to 20%.


• Must be willing to work onsite in Chicago, IL.


• Flexibility to provide weekend/holiday support when required by warehouse operations.
