Job summary

SCS Global Services is seeking a Verification Scientist II, GHG Forestry to lead audits of forestry and land-use projects under multiple carbon standards. This is a full-time remote role with global scope.

Responsibilities include document review, quantitative analyses (inventory calculations, GIS and remote sensing), site visits, and writing verification reports for carbon projects worldwide. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Forestry or related field and 4+ years of experience.
• Strong quantitative, writing, and organizational skills.
• Experience with field measurement techniques and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Audit management and project document review.
• Quantitative analyses including inventory calculations and GIS/remote sensing.
• Lead site visits and stakeholder interviews.
• Write verification findings and reports for carbon projects.
• Oversee contract auditors/consultants and ensure quality.
