KS Large Bore Pistons Group is seeking a Manganese Phosphate Operator in Marinette, WI to join the operations team. You will operate equipment to produce finished pistons and ensure adherence to production and quality standards.

You will inspect parts, manage chemical baths, perform routine maintenance, and train new staff. The role requires forklift licensing and basic math, with a background in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math and measurement skills needed.
• Ability to follow standard instructions and process sequences.
• Forklift license obtained per KSLP standards is required.
• Manufacturing background is helpful; blueprint reading required.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to produce finished pistons and meet quality standards.
• Communicate between shifts to relay information and issues.
• Inspect parts visually and with gauges to ensure specs.
• Clean areas, set up baskets, and adjust processes as needed.
• Maintain chemical baths, temperatures, and titration checks.
• Handle waste treatment per procedure and complete records.
• Perform basic daily maintenance and machine care.
• Train new employees and assist with material handling as needed.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Manganese Phosphate Operator to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating all required equipment to produce finished pistons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with previous and following shift to exchange information and learn of problems.
• Operate required equipment within the operation to produce customer products, meeting company production and quality standards.
• Visually inspect and gauge all parts according to procedures to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Clean all areas of operation. Set up baskets. Make necessary adjustments as required.
• Maintain temperatures, tank concentrations on the machine. This includes titration checks, adding chemicals, and mixing new baths.
• Operate waste treatment system according to procedure.
• Preparing chemical buckets for additives and new baths.
• Complete and maintain all paperwork, records, documents, etc. as required.
• Perform basic daily preventive maintenance, machine care and cleaning activities according to CIL Standards.
• Train new employees for an assigned area.
• Maintain a valid forklift license and support with material handling duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Requires a high school diploma, equivalent, or relevant experience
• Basic math experience
• Ability to perform the operation sequence of processes using standard instructions
• Ability to obtain a forklift license by KSLP standards
• Background in Manufacturing is ideal
• Ability to use small hand tools, hand gauges, and read blueprints
