Job description
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for ensuring that RSUS schedules and ships its products accurately and on time.
Perform cleaning and sealing and Bondo applications to all size mandrels
Oversee preheat oven temperatures to ensure accuracy, and proper mandrel preparation
Responsible for tape application and security of spike rings as required
Knowledge of walking beams operations, movement, and HMI panel operations
Responsible for mandrel lubricant application
Adhere to all related paperwork for efficient process flow
Adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Report on all equipment related issues to the Production Supervisor
Ensure proper inventory of materials to perform the job
Assist the Engineering Department in the research, trial/development, selection of new processes and equipment to improve the production process
Assist in training and cross training production team members
Participating in continuous improvement activities
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Comply with all Company Safety rules, Provincial and Federal Rules and Regulations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment; prior machine operation experience preferred
