Job summary

Vettedlance is seeking a Mandarin transcription contractor to turn spoken Mandarin into clean, word-for-word text for AI learning. This remote, part-time role offers weekly USD payments and flexible hours (10–40 hrs/week).

You will transcribe audio (and video when needed) with strict adherence to the project style guide, flag speakers and unclear passages, and add brief notes on dialect or context when requested. Prior transcription experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Transcribe Mandarin audio and video accurately.
• Experience with transcription or QA is a plus.
• Strong listening across accents and dialects.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe Mandarin audio (and video where needed) word for word using the project style guide
• Correct errors in machine-generated or earlier human transcripts
• Mark speakers, unclear passages, noise and unusable clips
• Add short notes on dialect, accent or context when asked
