Job summary

Vettedlance is seeking a contractor to label and review Mandarin text and documents used to train language models. You will assess grammar, regional usage and consistency to improve guidelines.

Responsibilities include annotating and reviewing Mandarin data, checking grammar and syntax, giving feedback on translations, and documenting decisions to inform workflow improvements. This is a remote, part-time hourly contract (independent contractor) with 10–40 hrs/week.

Qualifications

• Professional-level Mandarin (C1 or higher).
• Working English (B2 or higher).
• Careful, consistent annotation habits.
• Language, translation or annotation experience is a plus.
