Job summary

HiTHIUM Energy Storage in Texas seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier QA for battery module and pack components, developing QC plans and conducting supplier audits. You will analyze quality data, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and procurement to meet quality and cost goals.

The role requires 3+ years in supplier quality, experience with audits, and strong communication skills in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supplier quality engineering role.
Experience with conducting supplier audits and developing quality control plans.
Ability to communicate and direct supplier activities at the management level.
Proven results in meeting customer requirements and expectations.
Ability to define and execute a project using project management techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality control plans for suppliers, including inspection procedures, acceptance criteria, and corrective action plans.
Conduct audits of suppliers' facilities and quality systems to assess their capabilities and compliance with Industry standards.
Analyze quality data and identify trends to proactively address potential issues.
Work with suppliers to develop and implement corrective actions for identified quality problems.
Maintain clear and concise documentation of all quality activities, including audits, reports, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as manufacturing, engineering, and procurement, to ensure quality requirements are met.
Identify trends and priorities by organizing and graphing/charting data.
Apply project management and/or systems engineering tools to complete complex tasks.
Stay up to date on industry’s best practices and quality standards.
Plan, organize, direct, and report all activities and matters relating to supplier performance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
