Job summary

Irvine Clinical Research is seeking a Bilingual Mandarin Research Assistant to support clinical trial operations at our Oakland clinic, with future expansion to a San Jose site. The role involves prescreening, participant reception, study visit support, translation, and data management in a bilingual environment.

Qualifications

• Language fluency in Mandarin and English at professional level.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, biology, public health, or related field.
• Experience in clinical or research settings preferred.
• Strong data entry and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

• Prescreening interviews in Mandarin and English to assess eligibility.
• Reception and hospitality for participants and families in both languages.
• Assist with study visits, vitals, ECGs, cognitive testing, and lab processes.
• Provide translation and informed-consent support to Mandarin speakers.
• Maintain source documents and enter data into EDC systems.
• Support community outreach to Mandarin-speaking population.
