Job summary

Contact Review is seeking an English Document Reviewer to support remote document review projects. The role involves privilege review, redactions, and Mandarin-language tasks as part of eDiscovery workflows. Flexibility to work on project-by-project basis and in a fast-paced environment is valued.

Ideal candidates have active U.S. bar admission, familiarity with Relativity or similar platforms, and 2+ years of legal support experience.

Qualifications

• Mandarin fluency required for review work.
• Familiarity with document review workflows and processes.
• 2+ years of legal support experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic document review technology (Relativity, Everlaw).
• Active bar admission in at least 1 U.S. jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with document review and privilege review.
• Conduct legal research as needed.
• Provide translation services for Mandarin material.
• Collaborate with project team, reviewers, and analysts on cases.

Location: Remote

Start Date: Negotiable

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

Fluent in Mandarin Language

Familiarity with document review workflows

Examples: Privilege/Responsiveness Review, Redactions, Conceptual Searching, First and Second Review, etc.

Experience with electronic document review technology

Examples: Relativity, Everlaw, ViewPoint, etc.

Active bar admission in at least 1 U.S. Jurisdiction and status in good standing

THE FOLLOWING SKILLS ARE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

Experience as a member of a document review team

Familiarity with Relativity 9.0 or higher version

2+ years of legal support experience

Passed an ALTA exam in Mandarin Language

HOURS & LOCATION

Location (including opportunity for remote work) is established on a project-by-project basis

Hours (including the opportunity to work outside standard business hours) are established on a project-by-project basis
