Minimum 5 years of professional language services experience, preferably court/legal.
Native or near-native Mandarin and English with legal terminology knowledge.
On-site interpretation experience in high-stakes settings.

Responsibilities

Provide in-person, consecutive and/or simultaneous Mandarin-English interpretation for Arizona courts and related entities.
Interpret accurately and impartially in various legal settings (civil, criminal, family, juvenile, etc.).
Adhere to confidentiality, impartiality, and professional codes of conduct.
Prepare for assignments by reviewing case materials and relevant terminology.
