Southview Animal Hospital in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Managing Veterinarian to lead our Urgent Care service, guiding medical standards, mentoring veterinarians, and shaping growth while remaining clinically hands‑on.

Southview Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Managing Veterinarian to lead our Urgent Care service at one of Minnesota’s largest and most medically progressive small animal hospitals.
This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys fast-paced medicine and wants to take the next step into leadership without stepping away from clinical practice. You’ll help guide medical standards, mentor fellow veterinarians, support team development, and shape the continued growth of urgent care medicine—all while maintaining clinical autonomy and access to the resources of a large, collaborative hospital.
Urgent care at Southview offers the best of both worlds: the pace and variety of same-day medicine with the support of experienced colleagues, advanced diagnostics, skilled technicians, 24-hour hospitalization support, and visiting specialists when cases require additional collaboration.
Southview’s urgent care model allows doctors to manage a wide range of cases while having access to the people, tools, and resources needed to provide thoughtful and efficient care. It is a great fit for a veterinarian who enjoys medical variety, problem-solving, client communication, and the ability to help patients when timely access matters most.
We are seeking an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable navigating urgent care cases with a higher level of independence while collaborating closely within a larger hospital team.
Base salary: $130,000–$160,000 plus production, commensurate with experience
Medical, dental, and vision insurance
401(k) with match
Generous CE allowance
Uniform allowance
Access to mentorship and professional development resources, including PetOne Veterinary
Additional benefits and support through NVA
