Job summary

Mercer Advisors seeks a Managing Partner, Estate Planning - Regis to lead and grow a premier UHNW estate planning practice. This role sets the technical standard and engages on the most complex client matters across wealth planning, tax, and estate strategies.

Hybrid role with preference for San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Orange County. You will mentor top professionals, collaborate with wealth advisors, and drive integration and outcomes for high-net-worth families.

Qualifications

• JD required; LL.M. in Tax/Est planning preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one state.
• 20+ years of estate planning with $50M+ balances; $100M+ families experience.
• Proven leadership of high-performing estate planning teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Regis estate planning practice and set technical standards.
• Build and mentor an elite UHNW-focused estate planning team.
• Serve as the senior technical authority on estate planning matters.
• Design comprehensive, multi-generational estate plans for Regis families.
• Collaborate with senior wealth advisors and tax strategists to integrate plans.
• Own relationships with Regis families and outside advisors.
• Represent Regis in client development and industry thought leadership.
• Drive practice development and operational improvements.
