Qualifications

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for balancing people leadership, technical leadership, and individual technical contributions to support strategic technology initiatives for Allstate's Individual Health business. The Managing Engineer partners closely with Product Managers, Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. In addition to managing and developing engineers, this role is expected to contribute code, participate in technical design decisions, perform code reviews, and help resolve complex technical challenges. (Or equivalent)* 1 year or more of experience leading or managing software engineers.
