We seek an accomplished strategic leader for the role of Managing Director of Marketing to shape the marketing function, drive enrollment, boost brand visibility, and develop our portfolio of executive education programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in generating marketplace demand and leading high-caliber teams, and will be passionate about creating opportunities that change lives and organizations.

Leadership Responsibilities
  • Develop a compelling narrative for the GSB Exec Ed marketing team aligned with the school's mission.
  • Create a marketing roadmap with measurable goals contributing to organizational success.
  • Explore innovative marketing approaches beyond traditional search-based methods, including content marketing and targeted engagement strategies.
Strategic Planning & Demand Generation
  • Implement integrated marketing strategies to maximize reach, impact, and enrollments.
  • Collaborate with sales, programs, and tech teams to attract and nurture leads through the marketing funnel.
  • Adopt new technologies and platforms to enhance marketing effectiveness and create a community of loyal advocates.
Product Portfolio & Innovation
  • Conduct market research to guide product development and market fit strategies.
  • Partner across functions to develop differentiated educational offerings.
Budget & ROI Management
  • Manage marketing budgets to optimize resource allocation and ROI.
  • Use dashboards and automated reports for real-time performance tracking and cost efficiencies.
Team & Resource Development
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team with strong technical skills.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
  • Proven success in developing and executing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Strong collaborative, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset with diverse, transferable skills.

Preferred qualifications include 8+ years leading marketing or sales teams, experience in executive education, and an advanced degree in Marketing or Business. This remote role is open nationwide within the U.S., with a salary range of $200,000 to $260,000 annually, depending on location and experience.
