The hiring range for this role is:
147,190.00 - 206,425.00This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range, and this range may also be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the range may depend on factors such as competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and organizational needs.
This job is also eligible for an annual bonus incentive pay.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Anticipates and identifies key policy issues, oversees staff and consultants to review legislation, regulations, and proposals, and evaluates strategic impacts. Works with senior leaders to ensure representation of Plan interests in BCBSA positions. Manages projects within legislative and regulatory areas, develops comments and educational materials, and represents BCBSA in meetings with policymakers and stakeholders. Provides policy input to state initiatives and coordinates advocacy strategies with lobbying and communications teams. Formulates strategies, communicates implications, and maintains understanding of Plan interests to promote initiatives to policymakers and stakeholders. Leads discussions, prepares research agendas, and educates staff. Develops relationships with external organizations and policymakers to enhance knowledge and influence policy development.
