Dresner Partners is seeking an experienced Managing Director to grow its middle-market presence across Florida, Arizona, and Texas. The role focuses on originating and leading M&A advisory and capital-raising transactions with a strong marketing network.

The MD will lead deal teams, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff. A broad industry network and a track record of closing engagements are essential for success in this entrepreneurial, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Fifteen-plus years of experience at a boutique or regional investment bank.
• Proven track record of new business development and originating and closing IB engagements.
• Established relationships with private equity firms and middle market businesses.
• Deep knowledge and deal history within a specific industry.
• Experience managing day-to-day client relationships, transactions, and IB teams.
• Understanding of capital advisory services, M&A processes, and deal structuring.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to contribute to long-term firm growth.
• Bachelor's degree; MBA or Law degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal teams from pitch to closing on a range of transactions.
• Manage client relationships and serve as primary client contact on engagements.
• Provide leadership and mentoring for junior staff.
• Originate new client engagements and develop industry networks.
• Represent the firm at conferences and marketing events to generate exposure.
