About the Role

RSM is seeking a strong Health Care Managing Director with an entrepreneurial mindset to lead our Health Care Audit practice. This role involves shaping the future of our business in the market, designing, and implementing plans to build internal resources as we grow this practice over the next five years.

Candidate Profile

Successful candidates will have audit leadership experience, deep relationships within the health care industry, and a proven track record of business growth and team development.

Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to and execute the firm's overall strategy for profitable growth.
  2. Collaborate globally within the audit function.
  3. Develop new business through existing relationships and professional networks.
  4. Represent RSM to clients and prospects, demonstrating market-facing skills.
  5. Drive service offerings in California, Arizona, and Nevada, leading the market growth team and executing the health care business plan.
  6. Leverage existing clients and team members to expand the health care practice.
  7. Manage a profitable book of business aligned with strategic goals.
  8. Support the health care audit line of business, including technical reviews.
  9. Inspire and develop audit personnel in client service and market activities.
  10. Provide leadership and mentorship to teams for professional development and operational excellence.
Required Experience
  1. 9+ years of audit experience in public accounting.
  2. Leadership experience in a Big Four or similar firm preferred.
  3. Extensive audit experience with healthcare organizations.
  4. Technical proficiency in financial audits of large healthcare entities, including complex transactions.
  5. Strong client service and organizational management skills.
  6. Proven success in building and maintaining client and team relationships.

Salary range: $148,400 - $324,500, with potential discretionary bonuses based on performance.
