Citrin Cooperman is seeking a Managing Director, Head of Software Development to lead our IT initiatives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. You will transform development processes and drive strategic delivery across the firm.

You will oversee agile delivery, champion automation and AI, manage a development team, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with stakeholders to align technology with business goals.

Qualifications

• Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Have at least 10 years of experience managing complex projects.
• Have at least 8 years of direct management of a development team.
• Hands-on experience transforming a department.
• PE experience (preferred).
• Development background (required).
• Be fluent in SQL (required).
• Possess exceptional operational and strategic thinking.
• Communicate a compelling vision and practical execution plan.
• Demonstrate success in execution from strategy creation to post-implementation operations.

Responsibilities

• Regularly deliver features in an agile way, delivering against business outcomes.
• Create a culture of continuous improvement championing automation, metrics, and AI to create efficiency and enhance business intelligence.
• Mature SDLC processes and controls in the organization.
• Optimize production support activities and leverage Automation/AI when applicable.
• Manage development escalations and blockers ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and financial standards.
• Ensure projects are compliant with data integrity, enterprise architecture, and security standards and policies.
• Ability to translate complex technical issues into business terms.
• Manage vendor relationships ensuring top talent is allocated to the firm, timelines and quality of deliverables.
• Operate at multiple levels as needed (hands-on, strategic).

Responsibilities Are, But Not Limited To

• Maturing SDLC processes and controls in the organization.
• Optimizing production support activities and leveraging Automation/AI when applicable.
