Harvard Medical School seeks a Managing Director of Gift Planning to lead a comprehensive program with a portfolio of 80+ prospects. The role directs strategy, staffing, and cross-unit collaboration to secure deferred, complex, and blended gifts in support of HMS’s mission to alleviate suffering and improve health.

The candidate will oversee cultivate, solicit, and steward activities, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with policy and regulations while traveling as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible development experience, including significant experience with planned giving and/or complex philanthropic gifts.
• Expert knowledge of planned giving vehicles, charitable tax law, estate planning principles, and trust administration.

• Supervise two direct reports and collaborate with campus partners.
