RSM’s Washington National Tax practice seeks an experienced Managing Director with strong exempt organization tax advisory experience. You will lead complex engagements for public charities, foundations, and related entities, directing client relationships and strategy across a national scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA/EA/Attorney license or pre-approved alternative.
• Minimum 12 years of tax experience in public accounting for middle-market clients.
• Deep understanding of federal tax rules for exempt organizations.
• Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work onsite during core hours and travel as needed.
• Experience with complex tax issues affecting exempt organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage client relationships for complex engagements.
• Drive growth and profitability through new revenue and cross-selling.
• Explain complex tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Build cross-functional relationships for integrated service delivery.
