Job Description
Our Managing Directors (MDs) are key leaders driving the success and shaping of Sia as a firm. They play an integral role in Sales, Account Management & Client Delivery, and Governance, reporting directly to Sia Experience. MDs are responsible for driving new business sales, leveraging their networks to generate new clients and deepen existing relationships.
Responsibilities
- Strategy Leadership & Vision Setting
- Set and evolve the strategic vision for client work across brand, campaign, and content initiatives, ensuring strategies are rooted in audience insight, business context, and cultural relevance.
- Identify actions needed to achieve strategic goals, including key stakeholders and inputs.
- Translate client needs, market dynamics, and audience behaviors into actionable strategies.
- Lead the development of integrated strategic narratives for brand positioning across channels.
- Maintain knowledge of media strategy and channel performance to inform recommendations.
Audience Strategy & Insight Development- Own the audience strategy, synthesizing research and cultural signals into insightful directions.
- Extract and leverage audience insights for brand and campaign opportunities.
- Advocate for the audience, ensuring work aligns with how people think, feel, and behave.
- Evolve strategies based on performance data and real-time learning.
Client Partnership & Delivery- Lead client engagements with a strategic perspective, building trusted relationships.
- Ensure clarity and cohesion in work delivery, collaborating with teams.
- Mentor junior strategists and team members.
- Create holistic strategies integrating brand, campaign, content, and media.
Thought Leadership & Business Contribution- Contribute to Sia’s intellectual capital through thought leadership and internal tools.
- Represent strategy in new business and firm initiatives, supporting proposals.
- Manage a strategic book of approximately $1.5M in revenue, supporting growth through client relationships and strategic visioning.
Practice & Firm Leadership- Participate as a core member of the Sia Experience leadership team, influencing practice direction and culture.
- Engage in recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and talent development.
- Collaborate to evolve the Sia Experience offerings and approach.
