Job summary

Talisman, retained by a global consulting firm, is expanding its capital projects and construction advisory practice. This senior, build-oriented role expects you to own client relationships, win work, and shape the team as Managing Director.

You will originate senior engagements, lead delivery, and grow a practice through strong leadership, governance, and strategic insight into major programs.

Qualifications

• Proven track record winning and delivering capital projects or construction advisory work.
• Deep knowledge of construction economics, project controls and major program delivery.
• Strong relationships with owners, developers or contractors across power, energy, transportation, infrastructure or data centers.
• Business builder with origination capability to grow a practice.

Responsibilities

• Originate and lead capital project and construction advisory engagements for owners, investors and public sector clients.
• Advise on strategy, governance and setup of major capital programs.
• Lead oversight of large, complex projects across cost, schedule and scope.
• Direct construction contract and cost assurance, and project controls.
• Apply data, analytics and AI to give clients real-time portfolio visibility.

This is a senior, build-oriented hire for someone who wants to grow a business, not just run projects.

As Managing Director, you will own client relationships, win and shape work, and build a team around you. It is a rainmaker seat: you bring the relationships to originate senior engagements, and the leadership to deliver them.
