Job Description

The Alliance Theatre is Atlanta’s premier regional theater, dedicated to expanding hearts and minds through powerful programming and community engagement. Founded in 1968, it is recognized for artistic excellence and has received the Regional Theatre Tony Award. The theater is part of the Woodruff Arts Center, alongside the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the High Museum of Art.

Position Summary

The Managing Director will partner with the Artistic Directors to shape the strategic future of the organization, focusing on financial health, operational efficiency, and organizational growth. Key responsibilities include fundraising, financial management, marketing, human resources, and strategic partnerships. The role involves working closely with the Board of Directors and reporting to the CEO of the Woodruff Arts Center.
