You will deliver timely legal advice to business partners, monitor regulatory changes in automotive financing, insurance and optional products, and review practices for compliance.

The role requires a JD, Texas licensure, and strong experience in regulated environments; you’ll work with cross-functional teams to support new initiatives and governance efforts.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Bar admission in good standing in any US state; license to practice in Texas
• Legal experience in a highly regulated environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, accurate legal advice to business partners across Toyota Financial Services.
• Monitor and implement regulatory developments in automotive financings, insurance, and related products.
• Review contracts, forms, policies, procedures and agreements for compliance with laws.
• Provide clear legal conclusions across written and verbal settings; lead compliance workstreams.
• Support governance activities and regulatory examinations as assigned.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop governance practices aligned with business goals.
