Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking a Managing Consultant, Environmental Project Manager (Engineer or Geologist) to lead complex remediation projects in Boston, MA, Hartford, CT, or the New England area. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and deliver technically rigorous site investigations and remediation programs under CERCLA, RCRA and state regulations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology or closely related discipline required.
  • 4+ years of environmental site investigation/remediation project experience; 5–8 years preferred.
  • Experience with CERCLA, RCRA and state regulatory programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to produce high-quality technical reports.
  • Environmental field experience including soil, groundwater, and vapor investigations.
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is required.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee field programs including sampling, drilling, and remediation system implementation.

  • Interpret data, QA/QC, identify data gaps, and guide technical decision-making.
  • Evaluate remedial alternatives and assist clients in closure strategies with regulators.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development and client relationships.
