Managing Consultant, Environmental Contaminated Site Management - Engineer / Scientist (Senior Level)

Join ERM as a Managing Consultant, Environmental Contaminated Site Management - Engineer / Scientist (Senior Level) in Seattle, Washington . You will lead project management and provide technical expertise on site investigation, remediation, and compliance projects both locally and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Managing and executing onsite investigation and remediation projects for clients with complex issues across various sectors.
• Preparing technical reports such as feasibility studies, remedial and corrective action plans, and progress reports.
• Designing and negotiating remedial solutions utilizing innovative technologies and traditional systems.
• Overseeing multiple projects ensuring quality, scope, budget, and schedule adherence.
• Delegating project tasks and mentoring junior staff.
• Collaborating with ERM offices worldwide on project delivery.
• Developing client relationships and supporting business growth through proposals and business development activities.

Minimum

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, chemical, mechanical engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience with industrial clients on complex site investigation / remediation projects under various regulatory frameworks.
• Proven business development skills and established client contacts in relevant industries.
• Strong communication, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local regulatory environments and negotiation experience with regulators.
• Technical expertise recognized in the local marketplace.
• Ability to mentor and manage junior staff.

Preferred

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience drafting SPCCs and SWPCPs / SWPPPs.
• Professional Engineer Certification in Washington or ability to obtain within a year.
• Local candidates preferred.

Salary range is $94,595–$129,972 USD annually, based on various factors including experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
