Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a strong qualitative and research-oriented professional with an interest in applied economics questions, including intellectual property, antitrust, international arbitration, and broader applied economics. The role requires a highly motivated problem solver with robust analytical ability, strong organizational skills, and a desire to advance within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop economic theories of harm.
• Analyze relevant economic literature.
• Review and synthesize large bodies of litigation‑related evidence.
• Manage existing client relationships.
• Develop and present client deliverables, including expert reports, summaries, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Prepare expert testimony for depositions and trials.
• Oversee engagement work streams, both quantitative and qualitative.
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of analyses and opinions.
• Conduct industry research and expand business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in economics with expertise in industrial organization, applied microeconomics, or econometrics.
• More than four (4+) years of litigation consulting experience, specifically in antitrust matters.
• Strong qualitative background with research, writing, and staying current on antitrust issues.
• Experience reviewing depositions and prior expert reports.
• Experience directing teams in reviewing litigation documents using systems such as Relativity and Disco.
• Proficiency with economic, statistical, or financial analysis tools (MS Excel, SAS, Stata, MS SQL Server, R, MS Access, SPSS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage workstreams and other consultants.
• Commitment to producing high‑quality analysis with meticulous attention to detail.
• Desire to work in a collaborative team environment.

Salary

Salary Range: $110,000 – $170,000 annually.
