ProAmpac is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Rocky Mount, VA to lead the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials. You will ensure safe, compliant warehouse operations, manage inventory, and drive performance metrics.
The role requires a bachelor's degree with 3+ years in warehouse leadership, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. Expect budget adherence, process improvements, and supervision of staff in a fast-paced environment.

Lead your team as role model for workplace safety. Adhere to all safety, health and housekeeping protocols
Develop and implement policies and procedures governing the receipt, storage and distribution of materials (inbound, outbound, WIP)
Support the organizations supply chain strategy through maintenance of appropriate inventory levels and timely distribution of goods
Ensure warehouse operations comply with internal and external regulations for material handling, storage and distribution.
Track and report inventory
Develop, communicate and track department metrics that align with Organization
Responsible to develop, train, and make all personnel decisions within scope
Adhere to budget and strategic plan
Collaborate with Manufacturing management, Procurement, Sales, Finance and other departments as needed.
Ensure all warehouses or material moving equipment is maintained
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Education, Experience:
(Preferred) bachelor's degree and 3 plus years of experience managing production warehouse & shipping operations
Effective leadership and management skills.
Ability to collaborate, motivate, and foster teamwork.
Ability to handle complex issues.
Solid working knowledge of warehouse processes and related manufacturing.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook. Warehouse Management & SAP (preferred)
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
Experience with international shipping including use of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and tariff codes preferred
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
