Description
Reporting organisationally to the Senior Manager, Transport Integration, the Manager, Transport Mobility will be a key member of the FIFA26 Event Transportation team. The role involves working closely with the Operational Services team and other stakeholders to deliver all Host City Transportation operations on the Tournament Route Network, Tournament Bus System, and Bus/Metro/Tram Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate with all functions within Event Transport.
- Support the transport mapping process, including developing Bus/Metro/Tram Systems maps in collaboration with FIFA 26 projects.
- Collaborate with Host City authorities to develop operational plans for all transport systems and hubs, ensuring they meet FIFA requirements.
- Work with Host City transport teams to optimize pedestrian routes, road closures, and diversions for efficient flow.
- Support schedule and route planning to align with FIFA26 transport needs.
- Coordinate with FIFA Functional Areas to ensure transport plans align with overall strategies.
- Work with Last Mile teams, FIFA Spectator Services, and venue stakeholders to optimize access and egress.
- Assist in delivering transport operations for test events before the FIFA World Cup 26.
- Review and prepare reports, briefings, and presentations on spectator flow and public transport planning.
- Conduct site visits to observe and assess transport features and operations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Transport, Project Management, Event Management, or related fields; a master's degree is an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years of transport-related experience, preferably in sports or major events.
- Experience in international mega-events, such as FIFA World Cup or Olympics.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with public and private partners.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, with adaptability to changing circumstances.
- Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and cultural awareness.
