Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in San Francisco seeks a Manager to lead Transaction Advisory/Financial Due Diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients. You will oversee end-to-end buy-side and sell-side analyses, evaluate quality of earnings, cash flows, working capital, and forecasts, and communicate findings to management and sponsors.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of audit and financial due diligence experience, CPA or in progress, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and demonstrated

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of audit and financial due diligence experience at a top accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related major.
• CPA (or in progress) with US GAAP knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and mentor Associates and Senior Associates.
• Manage multiple chargeable and non-chargeable projects.
• Lead the Quality of Earnings, P&L and Working Capital analyses.
• Generate full due diligence reports.
• Communicate with clients on engagement matters (billing, scope, status).
• Support business development efforts.
