Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of training experience in a related function, preferably in managed care/insurance.
• Familiarity with computer-based training tools and technology-based training platforms.
• Knowledge of training methodologies, adult learning styles, and ROI evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify training needs using business indicators; develop curriculums and materials.
• Coordinate training efforts to meet demands.
• Oversee online interactive training initiatives from development to facilitation.
• Analyze training effectiveness and ROI; provide reports to management.
• Identify and implement cost savings while maintaining effective programs.
• Collaborate with senior management to align training with business objectives.
• Audit team results; identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Evaluate contracting with outside vendors to meet training goals.
• Travel may be required (10%).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

The Manager, Training provides leadership and strategic oversight for Marketplace Member Services and designated Medicaid training teams. This role drives cross‑functional alignment across Training, Instructional Design, Knowledge Management, Quality, business leaders, and Service Partner Training to deliver consistent, scalable, and measurable learning experiences aligned with member and provider needs. The Manager leads efforts to standardize and strengthen training content, identify operational synergies across teams, build workforce flexibility, and ensure trainer readiness and effectiveness during critical business periods.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify individual and group training needs through key business indicators and develop various training curriculums, materials and aids
• Coordinate training efforts to meet training demands
• Oversee online interactive training initiatives from development to facilitation
• Analyze and evaluate training effectiveness and ROI and provide reports and recommendations to management
• Identify and implement cost savings while maintaining effective training programs
• Collaborate with senior management to ensure training and development needs support key business objectives
• Oversee the auditing of team results, identify gaps in training, and implement improvements in training programs
• Determine appropriateness of contracting with outside vendors to accomplish the organization's training goals and objectives
• May be required to travel (10%)
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of training experience within the applicable function, preferably in a managed care/insurance environment. Familiarity with computer based training tools and other technology based training platforms. Knowledge of training methodologies, adult learning styles, and evaluative methodologies in measuring impact on organization and ROI of training expenditures.

Pay Range: $87,700.00 - $157,800.00 per year
