Manager Trainee - Operations (Travel Program; Relocation Required)

This position is based in a BioLife Center (not remote). As a Manager Trainee, you will undergo a comprehensive 12-month training program designed to develop your leadership skills and prepare you for accelerated career growth. Upon successful completion, there is an opportunity to advance into an Assistant Manager role within an additional six months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in leadership and operational training across various management areas including financial, marketing, administrative, regulatory, quality, and facilities management.
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and service, ensuring compliance with regulations and SOPs.
  • Travel to multiple BioLife locations nationwide as part of the development program.
  • Support a diverse, inclusive team environment and foster collaboration across organizational levels.
  • Create positive donor experiences and support production activities.
  • Relocate to a BioLife location after program completion and promotion to a management role.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience (approximately 3 years).
  • Experience supervising teams, coaching, and conducting performance management conversations.
  • Ability to travel up to 100%, depending on the program path.
  • Must reside in the continental US and near a BioLife location or be willing to travel extensively.
  • Ability to stand/walk for entire shifts and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SOPs, GDP, GMP, CLIA, FDA regulations.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments.
