The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role that provides work assignments and training opportunities to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Entry into the program may lead to a management position within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on prior experience and performance.

Responsibilities

• Live The Pledge, deliver WOW! Customer Service, and drive store execution and performance as a management team member.
• Support overall store operations including retail management, supervision, and policy implementation.
• Manage financials by analyzing and reconciling monthly P&L statements.
• Handle employee staffing, training, and development.
• Manage inventory and lead customer service initiatives.

MITs are responsible for completing training, learning about key aspects of the business and culture, maintaining satisfactory performance, and demonstrating progression through the program to be considered for management openings.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience.
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
• Previous automotive experience and financial analysis skills are preferred but not required.
