A leading company is seeking a Manager Trainee to prepare for a management role in retail/commercial operations. This short-term position offers training and responsibilities in store management, customer service, and financial oversight. Candidates should have prior retail management experience and be willing to work flexible hours.
The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role providing work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Progression to a management role may occur within approximately 8-12 weeks based on experience and performance.
An MIT is part of the management team, expected to Live The Pledge, deliver WOW! Customer Service, and drive store performance. Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the MIT will lead by example to maintain an engaged and productive team. Responsibilities include:
MITs are responsible for completing operations and management training, learning about key business aspects and AutoZone culture. Performance and progression are monitored throughout the program. Promotion to Store Manager or Commercial Sales Manager is not guaranteed and depends on various factors.
