The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role providing work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management. Progression to management typically occurs within 8-12 weeks, depending on experience and performance.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of the management team, live The Pledge, deliver WOW! Customer Service, and drive store performance.
• Support the Store Manager in overall store operations, including management, policy implementation, financial management, staffing, training, inventory, and customer service.
• Complete operations and management training, learn key business aspects, and uphold AutoZone culture.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience.
• Ability to work full-time with flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
