The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role providing work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Entry into the program may lead to a management position within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on prior experience and performance.

Responsibilities

An MIT is part of the management team, expected to Live The Pledge, deliver WOW! Customer Service, and drive store performance. Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the MIT will lead by example to maintain an engaged, productive team. Responsibilities include:

• Overall store management, supervision, and policy implementation
• Financial management, including managing and analyzing P&L statements
• Employee staffing, training, and development
• Inventory management
• Customer service leadership

MITs are responsible for completing training and learning about key aspects of the business and culture. Performance and progression through training are essential for consideration for management roles.

Note: Promotion to Store Manager/Commercial Sales Manager is not guaranteed and depends on performance and opportunity availability.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required
• Automotive experience and financial analysis skills are preferred but not required
