The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role that provides work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion into Store Management positions. Progression to management typically occurs within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on experience and performance.
An MIT is part of the management team, expected to Live The Pledge, deliver WOW! Customer Service, and drive store performance. Under the Store Manager's supervision, the MIT will lead a team, demonstrate initiative, and maintain store operations, including:
MITs must complete training, learn key business aspects, and demonstrate progression to remain in the program. Promotion to management depends on performance and availability of openings.
