Job summary

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) in Watertown, NY is hiring for an entry-level role focused on sales, service, and operational support. You will participate in fleet management, vehicle preparation, and customer interactions to drive store success.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: support location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience

• Vehicle and Facility Care: assist with cleaning, lot management and customer service
• Finance & Administration: learn processes and support deal completion, reporting and documentation

A Day in the Life:

What You’ll Do:

• Sales & Customer Service
  • Support achievement of location sales goals
  • Deliver excellent customer experience to contribute to high customer service scores
  • Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices
• Operations & Fleet Management
  • Gain hands‑on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control
  • Assist with store operations and compliance
• Vehicle and Facility Care
  • Support team with miscellaneous task including but not limited to cleaning and preparing vehicles for customers, lot management, and customer service assistance
• Finance & Administration
  • Learn finance processes and support deal completion
  • Understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics
• Leadership Development
  • Shadow and support management in daily operations
  • Build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching
  • Prepare for future leadership roles through structured training
  • Learn how role contributes to/impacts the overall financial wellbeing of the company

The starting wage for this position is $35,360.00 per year or $17.00 per hour
