The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role that offers work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Depending on prior experience and performance, progression to management may occur within approximately 8-12 weeks.

Responsibilities

An MIT is a management team member expected to live the pledge, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive store performance. Under the Store Manager's supervision, the MIT will maintain an engaged, productive team through strong leadership, initiative, and leading by example.

The MIT supports the Store Manager in overall store operations, including:

• Store management, supervision, and policy implementation
• Financial management—manage, analyze, and reconcile monthly P&L statements
• Employee staffing, training, and development
• Inventory management
• Customer service leadership

MITs must complete operations and management training, learn about key business aspects, and demonstrate consistent progress to remain in the program and be considered for management openings. Promotion to Store Manager or Commercial Sales Manager is not guaranteed and depends on performance and available openings.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required
• Automotive experience and financial analysis experience are preferred but not required
