Hertz Local Edition in Buford, GA is hiring a Manager Trainee to join our branch team and lead daily operations with a focus on customer experience. This hands-on role provides structured training and real-world experience to prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months.

You’ll learn the rental car business through sales, service, operations, and fleet logistics, while supporting team goals and ensuring a smooth rental process for customers.

Responsibilities

• Learn the rental car business through hands-on training in sales, customer service, operations, fleet logistics, and administration.

• Deliver a positive customer experience by helping customers through the rental process and resolving questions or concerns professionally.
• Assist with daily branch operations, including fleet inventory, vehicle preparation, lot organization, documentation, and compliance tasks.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand scheduling, team communication, performance coaching, and business metrics.
• Build the skills needed to grow into future leadership opportunities within Hertz.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 20 years old
• Valid driver’s license required
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or other professional experience preferred
• Strong communication, computer, multitasking, and time management skills
• A self‑motivated, adaptable approach with an interest in learning the business and growing into leadership
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment
