Hertz Local Edition in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Manager Trainee to join our local rental branch team. This hands-on role trains you to run a successful location while delivering a great customer experience and supporting daily branch operations.

You'll gain structured training and real-world experience, with a clear path to leadership. The program aims to promote to Branch Manager in 12–18 months, and the position requires flexibility, strong communication, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Learn the rental car business through hands-on training in sales, customer service, operations, fleet logistics and administration.
• Support branch sales goals by building customer relationships and identifying needs.
• Deliver a positive customer experience by guiding customers through the rental process and resolving questions professionally.
• Assist with daily branch operations, including fleet inventory, vehicle prep, lot organization, documentation and compliance tasks.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand scheduling, team communication and performance metrics.
• Build skills to grow into future leadership opportunities within Hertz.

Hertz Local Edition is hiring a Manager Trainee to join our local rental branch team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll learn how to run a successful rental location while delivering a great customer experience and supporting daily branch operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated, customer‑focused, and interested in growing into a leadership role. With structured training and real‑world experience, you’ll prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months.

Wage: $17.00 per hour.

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or other professional experience preferred.
• Strong communication, computer, multitasking, and time management skills.
• A self‑motivated, adaptable approach with an interest in learning the business and growing into leadership.
