Magnite seeks a Manager, Technical Operations, DV+ to own the resolution of the most complex technical escalations across omnichannel inventory including display, video, native, audio and DOOH.

You will partner with Product, Engineering and Account Management to design scalable solutions, leverage SQL and AI tools for analytics, mentor teammates, and drive operational efficiency in a fast‑paced environment. Hybrid schedule with remote days.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in technical operations or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (advanced degree a plus).
• Strong technical knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis, troubleshooting, and workflow automation.
• Genuine interest in emerging AI technologies, with the ability to apply them to operational workflows and problem‑solving.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with experience diagnosing complex issues.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly, identify root causes, and drive issues to resolution.
• Able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to balance immediate needs with long‑term scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive resolution of the most complex technical escalations, serving as the final internal escalation point before Product/Engineering leadership.
• Query and analyze large datasets across multiple systems using SQL to identify trends, diagnose issues, and support operational decision‑making.
• Leverage modern AI tools and emerging technologies to identify repeatable challenges, design scalable solutions, automate workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues spanning multiple platforms, systems, reporting pipelines, APIs, and integrations.
• Partner directly with Product, Engineering, and Account Management leadership to shape initiatives and represent Technical Operations in cross‑functional planning.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Technical Operations team members, without formal management responsibility.

About This Team

The Manager, Technical Operations, DV+ is a critical operational leadership role focused on the DV+ platform, where publishers monetize omnichannel inventory — spanning display, video, native, audio, and DOOH — through sophisticated, AI‑enhanced programmatic solutions. This role serves as a key cross‑functional partner and primary internal escalation point, operating at the intersection of Account Management, Product, and Engineering to drive technical resolution and support our platform’s evolving capabilities. A core component involves leveraging modern AI tools and advanced analytics to identify repeatable challenges, design scalable solutions, and drive operational efficiency across large datasets. Leading cross‑functional initiatives and high‑profile projects is core to this role, though it does not carry direct reports.

In This Role You Will

In New York, the base salary range for this role is $125,000 – $135,000.

In California, the base salary range for this role is $125,000 – $135,000.

In Massachusetts, the base salary range for this role is $115,000 – $125,000.

In Colorado, the base salary range for this role is $100,000 – $110,000.

Actual compensation will be determined based on location, experience, skills, and internal equity.
