About the Role

In this role, you will be accountable for maintaining and executing design aesthetics through consistent fit and construction, aligning with our customers' needs. You will collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and vendors, translating design concepts into specifications for costing and prototypes by leveraging fit camps and maintaining overall customer fit consistency. Additionally, you will guide global sourcing teams to expand vendor capabilities and troubleshoot fit issues as needed.

What You'll Do

1. Oversee the development of pattern blocks to achieve optimal and consistent fit.
2. Bring 8-10+ years of technical design experience.
3. Work with both knits and wovens.
4. Preferably have experience in both men's and women's categories.
5. Have a strong passion for mentoring talent.
6. Manage the development and maintenance of tech packs throughout the line creation process.
7. Provide guidance on vendor readiness and fit empowerment.
8. Ensure quality of services and advice to meet business partner needs.
9. Share responsibility over team results, resources, budget, and policy adherence.

Who You Are

1. Possess significant technical design experience with fabrics, garment construction, pattern/blocks, and manufacturing processes.
2. Maintain an effective industry network, benchmarking and participating in industry committees.
3. Have a sound understanding of design, merchandising, and product development priorities.
4. Develop and apply simple, effective solutions to complex challenges.
5. Proven experience leading and managing a small team.
6. Ideally experienced with digital product software.
7. Have prior experience working in an apparel retail company.
8. Capable of assessing complex situations, analyzing data, and recommending solutions.
